Sydney workers in limbo after Hastie collapse

Around 300 workers in Sydney's north-west have been told to hand in their tools following the collapse of the Hastie Group.
The firm was placed into voluntary administration this morning after an accounting irregularity was found on its books.
The group is made up of many companies, covering fire, electrical and plumbing services, and its collapse has placed more than 2,000 jobs at risk across the country.
One of those companies is Heyday, an electrical services provider based in Macquarie Park.
