Falsely represent to your customers that your latest price hike is the result of the carbon tax and you could be liable to pay a $1.1M fine.

The federal government has funded the ACCC with $12.8M to combat price gouging, with the Treasurer stating

With the ACCC successfuly suing Optus for a record $5.26M earlier this month, businesses are rightly treading carefully.
