Seven drops case against Ten Network
Friday 1 April 2011 @ 3.34 p.m. | Industrial Law
The court action brought by the Seven Network against Ten was this morning dismissed by consent of both parties.
Seven's action against its former sales chief James Warburton, who quit to take over as Ten's chief executive, will go ahead on the afternoon of 1 April 2011.
Seven had included Ten in the action, alleging it had induced Mr Warburton to break his contract.
Removing Ten as a defendant is likely to reduce the length of the hearing, the NSW Supreme Court was told.
