TAS: Logging deal inquiry unnecessary

The Forest Industries Association of Tasmania (FIAT) believes an Upper House inquiry into the impact of the latest six-month deal to halt logging in some public native forests is unnecessary.
The inquiry to begin by the middle of next month.
FIAT's Terry Edwards says there have already been extensive public consultations.
