Model Work Health and Safety Regulations for public comment

Safe Work Australia has released of the Model Work Health and Safety Regulations for public comment. 

This release also includes an Issues Paper and draft Model Codes of Practice.

The model regulations are open for public comment until 4 April 2011. A final model Regulations package is expected by June 2011 for the approval of the Workplace Relations Ministers’ Council. The resulting Act and Regulations are expected to come into effect Australia wide by January 2012.
