Macquarie Group Co-operates with ACCC over telco finance scams

Macquarie Group today was taken to task by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for its treatment of small business owners caught up in alleged finance scams.
According to ABC TV's Four Corners program, which airs tonight, many Australian businesses have been hit by alleged telco finance scams, which involve the bundling of telecommunications services with electronic goods or other equipment.

by telco companies
Macquarie Group's specialised asset finance and leasing business, Macquarie Equipment
Rentals, has taken hundreds of small business owners to court for breaching rental
