ACMA boss flags uniform media rules

Chris Chapman (ACMA Chairman) says uniform content regulation rules across media platforms will be a key issue of his next term at the media regulator.

Mr Chapman, who was last week re-appointed for a second five-year term as chairman of the Australian Communications and Media Authority, told Media the industry had an "interesting scenario developing regarding the harmonisation of regulation of content'' across media that had traditionally operated as separate silos.
