Social Security Point-in-Time Service Updates

The Social Security Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include the Universities Accord (Student Support and Other Measures) Act 2024 (Act No 108 of 2024).
Act 108 of 2024
The Act amends the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (Cth) to respond to the recommendations of the Australian Universities Accord (the
Accord). The Accord was the biggest and broadest review of the higher education sector
in 15 years. It sets out a blueprint for higher education reform for the next decade
and beyond.
The Act also includes consequential amendments to various Acts, including the Social Security Act 1991 (Cth), to provide that the calculation of a person's study or training income contingent
loan will take into account changes to Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Wage Price Index,
instead of just CPI.
These amendments have been updated in the Point-in-Time Social Security Service current to 14 January 2025. (NB: Subscription required).
