Wednesday 6 April 2011 @ 3.25 p.m.

At no extra cost to subscribers TimeBase has added Commonwealth legislation PDFs to our Premium LawOne with Cases Service.

LawOne is a one-stop-shop which enables users to access PDFs of Commonwealth Legislation both copies of Authorised legislation and otherwise.

Simple and immediate access

Just click on the PDF link next to the Print/View icon and instantly download Authorised and non-authorised copies of Commonwealth Legislative Instruments. No need to go outside LawOne to secure copies of legislation in Court-friendly form!

Regulatory Instruments

Since 1 January 2005, the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments (FRLI) was established as the authorised online repository for electronic versions of Commonwealth legislative instruments and related materials.

Now that same PDF material is available on TimeBase, and LawOne carries copies of all authorised PDFs of regulations as registered in the FRLI on Comlaw.

Commonwealth Acts

Some Australian Federal Government Acts are also authorised for the purpose of legal proceedings. These authorised consolidations are indicated on the ComLaw Site by a map of Australia logo.

TimeBase has reproduced these on LawOne with an "Authorised PDF Download" heading if there is an authorised consolidation available. See below.

Also available on LawOne are PDF versions of unauthorised Commonwealth principal legislation where available on ComLaw. These are distinguished from the authorised consolidations as they simply carry a "PDF Download" heading.
