South Australia Serious and Organised Crime Declared Organisation Amendments Assented

The Serious and Organised Crime (Control) (Declared Organisations) Amendment Act 2013 (SA) has received assent (1 August 2013 - Gazette 48 of 1 August 2013, p 2380) and is now Act No 32 of 2013. The legislation is as yet is to be proclaimed to commence.
As previously reported the legislation amends the South Australian Serious and Organised Crime (Control) Act 2008 and Serious and Organised Crime (Unexplained Wealth) Act 2009 with the stated intention of "disrupting and restricting the activities of organisations involved in serious crime and the members and associates of such organisations; and of protecting members of the public from the violence associated with such criminal organisations".
