The Federal Government plans to establish an expert panel by the end of the year to determine the best way to recognise Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders in the preamble to the Australian Constitution.
Is this a logical next step after the apology? Or is its "a meaningless symbolic gesture"? as has been stated by country music star Warren H Williams who was a Greens' Senate candidate at the last federal election.
