According to an article in the Australian the $37 million sexual harassment lawsuit launched by David Jones publicist could be settled as early as Friday.
Ms Fraser-Kirk's barrister, told the Federal Court yesterday the parties would take part in conciliation talks in the Australian Human Rights Commission. Ms Fraser-Kirk is suing David Jones, nine directors and the retailer's former chief executive Mark McInnes in Australia's biggest sexual harassment case.
Claims of unwelcome sexual advances to her and further claims the retailer tolerated his continuing sexual misconduct. It is understood the conciliation talks could run for days and, if successful, Ms Fraser-Kirk's Federal Court action could be discontinued.
Meanwhile, the parties are discussing what documents they require from each other to further their cases in the Federal Court. Do you believe this case will end quickly?
